Simply the best in the field. Translates correctly, I can tell. And with fine sense of humor when it comes to public places’ names: Santa Susanna church on the map of Rome was translated as Santa Claus church!😄. The app is perfect in every way, I can’t believe the technology has gone so far. One can even speak instead of typing! What else do you need when in Italy! Perhaps some money. Few words to creators of this app. Gentlemen, thank you so very much for this advanced, practical and inexpensive help to the travelers. All the best to you.

impressive, especially the voice support. PS: the app will pull another 100MB after you installed it. Just fir the record. 6MB is nit the actual size. However, it works quiet good

Awful. Does not work

I bought this App for a trip to Italy. It can do simple English to Italian translation. More complex sentences came out awkwardly. It could not translate Italian to English. The voice input worked sporadically. The function for taking pictures of signs and translating never worked. I went to their support site and asked for help and never received a reply.

Spent 3 weeks in Italy and wanted to use this instead of a phrasebook. Unfortunately, out of about 20 or 30 tries with short phrases and words, it provided a useful result only about one time in five. Many times it just gave me the same Italian word back instead of English. I'm back to using a book. In fairness, some of the translation requests - like trying to understand the settings on a washing machine - were not in the phrasebook either.

For some reason this translator is terrible at translating sentences.. It's almost always wrong.. Its the only offline translator I can find and it does ok at translating 1 word at a time.. not sentences. that's the only reason I'll give it 1 star.

Very quick when producing the translation and for an offline app, I was surprised with the accuracy of translations that I did so far.

No problems for me with basic translations and with offline use and voice output makes this an app I can rely on.

Was extremely nervous that I was going to waste 2$ being one of the first to download this... But I'm glad I took the risk! It works well and translate nearly perfect. More advanced sentences aren't perfect, but that is with all translators. It works perfectly offline and translate within a few seconds! I suggest this to anyone taking a trip to Italy or America without wanting to spend 50$ on data plans.

Are you serious? The first Italian sentence that I entered was horribly butchered! Example: it chose "to demo" instead of "to see", with a conjugated form. No, I don't think anyone speaks this way. Not helpful!

Translations are awful. I've had experience with Italian and this app doesn't do the job. I was suspicious with the screen shot preview but I didn't think it would be this awful.
